The Lizard is an amazing place and on the doorstep to exciting fishing opportunities.
We are fortunate that many people have never made the effort to come to this most southerly part of the UK mainland. Many manage to visit mid-Cornwall or Lands End and think they've seen it all but we are one of Britain's best kept secrets worthy of visits throughout the year when we can offer some exhilarating extremes of weather.storm
Even the usually sheltered Cadgwith can suffer from adverse weather. This photo was taken during the early February storms.

Places close by and well worth a visit include Cadgwith and Kynace Cove and, of course the most Southerly point, Lizard Point.

The Visit Lizard and The Lizard websites are good places to start for more information and http://www.cadgwith.com provides lots of interesting info about this nearby characterful and very Cornish fishing village.

We have sea on three sides so the enthusiastic fisherman can avoid the worst of most weather by choosing marks that avoid the prevailing wind. There are fishable harbours at Mullion and Coverack.
Nearby Cadgwith plays host to a fishing competition on most Thursdays during the Summer months. We sponsor junior prizes for the event. Follow this link for thehe 2014 Schedule
Kennack Sands offers good evening fishing and benefits from a host of  family friendly campsites close by.
There are plenty of reasonable out of season rates for groups who are intent on away from it all fishing holidays.

There are also many family friendly activities away from the 'crowds. Details can be found from a Google search or from the many information leaflets available locally.
